Vegan “Cheese” Sauce
I mixed it with a marinara and put it on top of spinach linguine and added sprouts of course!
“Cheese” sauce recipe:
4 potatoes peeled and chopped
2 C peeled and chopped carrots
2 peeled and chopped garlic cloves
1/2 C water
1/4 C olive oil (I used my mushroom flavored olive oil)
3/4 C nutritional yeast
Onion powder, seasoning salt, pepper and parsley flakes (I always just season to taste so I don’t have measurements for these)
Boil potatoes and carrots until soft and put everything in the blender until smooth. I liked it cold as well as warmed up on the pasta. Enjoy ????
