Happiness is not just when you stop looking to see if the grass is greener. It’s when you don’t even notice whether there is grass at all ?
It has taken my entire life to get where I can do this. And do it without guilt. I don’t say “yes” out of obligation anymore. I refuse to apologize for how I live or what I do. I choose to be around people that make me feel good about myself and respect my decisions and don’t judge or speak negatively about me or others. I have no interest in words that are not said to my face. Talking, thinking or comparing my life to others doesn’t appeal to me because I’m fulfilled with my own. Yes my kids come first but I no longer feel badly about including myself at the top of the priority list too. Whether it’s a relationship (or a lack of one), a job, what you eat, what you wear…. Do what makes you happy because life is short and you’ve got one chance at it! ? #behappy#loveyourself
